Silicone Carbide Whisker provides enhanced heat resistance and wear resistance in polymer coating system.

SI-TUFF™ is long and hard rod of single crystal Beta Silicon Carbide Whisker.

This crystal like poly type structure has a very high hardness and the modulus of elasticity and has excellent distributive power.

Because it is inactive and stable at the same tine, it can be applied to coatings or ceramics requiring wear resistance, heat resistance and loss minimization.
